Category: European Championship - published 2010-07-29 by EFAF

The opponent of France in Saturday's European championship final will be decided in Thursday's game between Germany and Finland. Germany goes into the game in Wiesbaden as favourites, and after their win over Austria a victory or even a tie would take the Germans to their fourth consecutive final.

In Finland were to upset Germany, the group would end up in a three way tie, with all teams having one one game. In that case the order of the teams in the group would be decided by net points in the tournament. The tiebreaker after that would be the number of touchdowns scored.

In Thursday's afternoon game at Brita Arena Sweden and Great Britain play for a place in the bronze medal game. Both teams have lost to France, the winner of the group. The loser of the game between Sweden and Great Britain will have to play for places 5 and 6, and to keep their spot in the A-group.
