The American Football Verband Deutschland (AFVD) counts by January 1, 2012 45.567 members which is another membership record. Compared to the year before AFVD increased his membership from 41.003 members by 11,13%.
With this new numbers now almost every second member of all national federations in whole Europe is AFVD member.
In the last two years AFVD expanded the German Football League (GFL) from 12 to 16 clubs and the U19 German Football League Juniors (GFL Juniors) from 12 to 24 clubs.
